Cynthia Morgan defends Peter Okoye amid ongoing P-Square family drama, wishes him peace and salvation

Singer Cynthia Morgan has come to the defence of P-Square star Peter Okoye amid criticism over his recent social media outbursts and ongoing family dispute.

In a post shared on Instagram, Cynthia addressed those accusing Peter of being destructive, arguing that artists often express deep emotions shaped by their personal experiences.

She said artists are conditioned to draw inspiration from everything they go through, including love, grief, abuse and pressure.

According to her, when an artiste appears to have become destructive, people should consider what may have happened behind the scenes before passing judgment.

Cynthia wrote that artists sometimes reach a point where they can no longer pretend and may need to express their emotions or seek therapy.

She also highlighted the sacrifices artists make to entertain their audience, adding that some of the older generation of artistes, particularly those connected to the P-Square circle, built their brands under circumstances that were not always visible to the public.

Addressing Peter directly, Cynthia concluded with a message of support, writing:

“The Lord is close to the broken hearted @petersquare. I wish you peace and salvation.”
